At last it is time – we were able to harvest the first ice grape for the Winery My Freedom. On today’s Saturday morning, the team of the company went outdoor to Hallgarten at 4.30 clock, in order collect the ice grapes at Hendelberg. This completes the 2016 harvest, the wait in the frost and dry cold has paid off in the end. The grapes that were prepared specially through the ice-vintage, resulted in good health, and a few hours later, in the cellar, we delivered 100 liters of ice wine with a weight of 146 degrees Oechsle. Under floodlight and with our hands, the crisp frozen wine could be put into the cellar. We are very satisfied with the premiere and will now make a nice drop for you in the cellar so that you will like and get to know our assortment.
